We appreciate your patience while The City of Grove City completes curb and street repairs on Broadway. During the next two months the repairs will be completed in the following phases.
The curbing repairs on the west side of Broadway (Repair Phase 1) are now finished and the pylons and steel ramps will soon be removed.
Repair Boundaries: The primary area of repair is Broadway between Cleveland Ave. and Kingston Ave.
Repair Phase 2: The next phase of repair will begin Wednesday, June 16 and involves full depth repair of deteriorated asphalt sections. Repairs at these areas will involve lane restrictions and some temporary loss of curbside parking. Work should take approximately two weeks, plus weather delays.
Repair Phase 3: The curb repairs on the east side of Broadway will begin as soon as possible after Phase 2. This process will require approximately one week to complete, plus weather delays. During this period access will be restored to parking areas, when possible, using steel plates.
There will be no roadwork the week of the Homecoming Celebration, Saturday, July 17 through Monday, July 25.
Repair Phase 4: In early August the final phase will involve a process of milling and paving the asphalt on Broadway between Kingston Ave. and Cleveland Ave. This phase will take approximately two weeks, plus weather delays.
